Born in 2011 in Norway, “By” was founded by Sigurd Strøm and Henning Romero. The founders bring wide experience in the melting pot of Scandinavian Art and Design, and share a sharply focused vision on what “By” should achieve:

We will find brilliant design ideas and bring them to life. Our task is to challenge the mind and take Scandinavian design to the next level.

While we have a regional focus to find the best up coming designers and products from Norway and surrounding countries, our ambition is global, to take these designs to an iconic level around the world. Quality is always our primary objective.

We only take a very select few designs into the prototype and production stage and each one must share the same single quality, that is the ability to shake the design world.
